By downloading, installing, or using KLDM, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What KLDM Does

KLDM is a download manager with an in-app browser that helps you initiate, manage, and organize downloads on your Android device. KLDM does not host, store, or provide any content itself.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use this App in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age required to consent to digital services in your country, you must have a parent/guardian's permission.

3. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree that you will:

  • Use KLDM only for lawful purposes.
  • Download and share content only if you have the legal right to do so.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including copyright and intellectual property laws.

You agree that you will not:

  • Use KLDM to infringe copyrights or violate third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass paywalls, DRM, authentication, or security protections that you are not authorized to access.
  • Use the App to distribute malware or harmful content.
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the App except where the law explicitly allows.

Note: KLDM does not include a built-in catalog/search for copyrighted content. You provide the links and sources you choose to access.

4. Third-Party Websites and Content

When you browse or download using KLDM, you interact with third-party websites, servers, and services that are not controlled by us.

We are not responsible for:

  • The content, legality, or availability of third-party websites
  • Any fees, subscriptions, or policies of third-party services
  • Any loss or damage resulting from your use of third-party websites or content

Your use of third-party websites may be governed by their terms and policies.

5. Downloads, Reliability, and Device Limitations

Downloading depends on factors outside our control, including:

  • Your internet connection and network restrictions
  • Server availability and limitations imposed by the website
  • Android OS behavior, OEM background restrictions, battery optimization, and permission settings

We do not guarantee that:

  • Any specific file will download successfully
  • Downloads will always continue in the background
  • Speed, completion time, or resume behavior will be uninterrupted

You are responsible for verifying downloaded files before opening or sharing them.

6. Permissions and Background Behavior

KLDM may request permissions (such as notifications and storage/folder access) to provide key features like download progress, controls, and saving files.

You control permissions through Android system settings. Some features may not work properly if permissions are denied or restricted. Battery optimization settings on some devices may limit background operation.

7. Ads and Analytics

The App includes advertising and analytics:

  • Ads are provided by third-party partners (Google AdMob).
  • Analytics are used to understand app performance and improve reliability.

8. Intellectual Property

We own (or license) all rights in the App, including the name, branding, design, and code, except for third-party components used under their respective licenses.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your device, subject to these Terms.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update the App to add, remove, or modify features, including to comply with legal, security, or platform requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" will change when updates are made. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
  • We may suspend or terminate access to the App if required by law, or if you violate these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) during the 12 months before the claim arose.

(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.)

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Kerala, India will have jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.
